This course will take you through the information as though you're starting a new job as a frontend web developer. Learn 'on the job' and up-skill in both the core aspects of HTML, CSS & Javascript, as well as being a useful team member at your first job.
We need intro In this module, you'll learn about the fundamentals of every web page: HTML & CSS. Using these 2 technologies, you'll see how to create beautiful components and layouts to create your very own site. You'll also learn how to keep a log of every change to your files, through Git, and how to safely store your code on Github. here…
In this module, you'll discover the power of your first programming language — Javascript. You'll learn core concepts and techniques to make your website more dynamic and interactive.
By phase 3, you will be familiar with Javascript in the front-end. So now it's time to see how Javascript can also be a powerful back-end. Using Node.js, we'll explore how Javascript can power a server, and how you can easily add functionality to your system with the Node Package Manager.

After moving to Cape Town in pursue to study Computer science, I found myself being a college dropout within a few months into my studies due to lack of financial support and I ended up completing my studies through self-learning and I happily found myself on the path to becoming a Developer, and have never looked back... I have a passion for building things and it so happens that a logical perspective goes a long way in developing and building websites. Through hard work and dedication have made my journey from humble beginnings to the successful developer I am today.
Your educational environment will mirror the real-world environment of an office, helping you to prepare for your first job upon graduation. Some teachers try to push their classes to exhaustion in the name of progress, but we believe you will learn more and be better prepared by practicing a positive work/life balance. As a result, our schedule is structured around a typical 8-hour workday, with a 1-hour lunch break.
Each class will start with a thorough review and discussion of the previous day’s exercises. This is an opportunity for students to identify areas that may need further attention and more self-study.
Time flies when you’re having fun! We’ll take advantage of the freshest part of each morning for a solid 2-hour block of instruction.
Peer-to-peer learning at its best. You and another student will team up to complete new tasks that correspond with the day’s teachings.
An hour-long break to rest and recharge. Our campuses are centrally located, so there are many options available for a light and healthy lunch.
Save that afternoon nap for later! There’s work to be done. This after-lunch lecture block will incorporate activities to keep your blood flowing and your brain on and in receive-mode.
Spend the last portion of the day improving the online world as you know it! You will be tasked with identifying an existing app and applying the concepts of the day to improve upon the programme.
Go eat. Unwind. A rested brain will prepare you for tomorrow!

Our Front End Web Fundamentals programme requires that you are familiar with some fundamental skills in programming. We will test your current skills to ensure that you are sufficiently prepared to succeed in this programme.
Once your tuition deposit is received, we will send you two weeks of course material to review prior to first day of lectures.
Our programme kicks off with an orientation session, where you will meet your lecturers and peers.

It’s best to be entirely dedicated to the programme so you’re able to absorb and learn all the information we share with you over 4 weeks. Due to the sheer amount of work covered, it’s not possible to juggle other major responsibilities during the programme.
